2) [Waterproof]... LIPNER's waterproofing refers to the "function of not allowing water to pass through."

It prevents water leakage and does not let water through even in heavy rain.

Instead of just surface treatment, it is made from materials that do not allow water to penetrate, or various treatments are applied to the backside of the fabric.

The level of water resistance is indicated by the waterproof pressure rating.
